Technical Expertise and Project Experience

Our high voltage projects are located coast to coast and in the Pacific Rim. We are organized to simultaneously handle several large multi-year projects.

Our staff is organized with senior construction managers who in turn direct our on-site Project Managers. All of our senior personnel have decades of experience in all aspects of high voltage construction, safety, commissioning and operations.

We maintain a large fleet of rolling stock and can mobilize multiple crews on short notice for storm damage restoration.

PowerPlus Electric has a long and very successful history of partnering with the same clients on major multi-year projects. Some clients have used the services of the PowerPlus Group for over twenty years.

Construction partnering is a way of life with PowerPlus Electric and we have learned how to make partnering work. Good partnering fosters a relationship of trust and communication. Good partnering minimizes conflicts, surprises, missed schedules, rework and change orders.

Integrated Construction

Construction should be a participatory activity in that a constant dialog is maintained with the client’s project managers, the design engineering firm, material suppliers, and equipment suppliers. Most of our projects at PowerPlus Electric are Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) contracts and our involvement with procurement and engineering changes the way we construct. Because of our close relationship with our sister company, PowerPlus Engineering, we are constantly improving the constructability of our projects.
